True Landscape of Buddhist Temples Lee Ho-shin, following the exhibition in 1998, presents which is full of fragrance of the Buddhist templesin the mountains. The former showed us tiny creatures of our landlike wild grass, trees and insects he captured during his ecology tour; this exhibition, on the other hand, featured the quiet scenery of old Buddhist temples situated in celebrated mountains or in propitious sites. Lee Ho-shin, longing for expressing the value and life of us, and always keeping in mind of the blessings of his motherland which has been bearing and nurturing him, is said to have started to draw ‘the true landscape of the Buddhist temples’ through the field investigation of the land and the temples for several years. The special reason he chose the temples as his subjectis that most temples are situated harmoniously with the nature, and sothrough the temple-scapes the beauty of the nature and the old architecture could be appreciated easily, and temple is reckoned by the artist as the living heritage of our ancestors. Landscape of Buddhist temples, the artist captured through his own legwork, delivers us the unique aura of the temples along with the regional trait of architecture and seasonal beauty of the mountains
