SOON.EASY (b. 1990) explores the darker aspects of life through a distinctive sense of bleak humor. Through the juxtaposition of tragic narratives and vibrant colors, his work generates a tension between content and form, probing ways of confronting and embracing life's inherent tragedies. Moving between painting and digital drawing, he occasionally incorporates sculptural objects to extend the formal and material boundaries of his practice.
SOON.EASY was born in Incheon, Korea, and received a BFA in Printmaking from Hongik University. He solo exhibitions include Free Lunch (2026, WORKS WORKS, Seoul, Korea), Korean Kidding Culture Association (2024, Galerie ERD, Seoul, Korea), Sent from my iPhone (2024, Norwich gallery, Norwich, UK), Demolished Soon (2023, Galerie ERD, Seoul, Korea), and Plausible bullshit (2021, IDAHO, Seoul, Korea).
